General description
Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) is the most widely used tool for the measurement of severity of psoriasis. PASI combines the assessment of affected area and the severity of lesions into a single score ranging from 0 (no disease) to 72 (maximum disease severity).

PASI = 0.1 ✕ (head erythema + head induration + head desquamation) ✕ head area + 0.2 ✕ (arms erythema + arms induration + arms desquamation) ✕ arms area + 0.3 ✕ (trunk erythema + trunk induration + trunk desquamation) ✕ trunk area + 0.4 ✕ (legs erythema + legs induration + legs desquamation) ✕ legs area
