General description
The International Prognostic Scoring System consists of five predictors of shortened survival in patients with primary myelofibrosis (PMF). Based on the number of present predictors patients are stratified into 4 risk groups with median survivals of 11.3, 7.9, 4.0, and 2.3 years.
