Internacionalni prostata simptom skor (I-PSS) procenjuje ozbiljnost simptoma benigne hiperplazije prostate na osnovu odgovora na sedam pitanja o urinarnim simptomima i jednog pitanja kojim se ocenjuje kvalitet života. Svako pitanje koje se tiče urinarnih simptoma omogućava pacijentu da odabere jedan od šest odgovora koji ukazuje na sve veću ozbiljnost određenog simptoma. Odgovorima se dodeljuju bodovi od 0 do 5. Ukupni skor može biti u rasponu od 0 do 35 (asimptomatski do vrlo simptomatski).
